“Reusable Year 2026” – in a prime location!

The planned Packaging Act Implementation Act (VerpackDG) will significantly shape the political debate in 2026. The law aims to further prevent and reduce the environmental impact of packaging waste and to promote a circular economy. This marks the beginning of a new phase for the issue of reusable packaging in Germany.

In this historic year of sustainability, 2026, the smartvillage in Berlin offers us a fitting event location: The event center, located next to Neukölln City Hall, has been freshly renovated and was created through the repurposing of a former department store complex. The entire event area provides a fitting setting for a modern and innovative sustainability event.
